Miss International is a Japan-based international major beauty pageant organized by the International Culture Association. First held in 1960, it is the third largest pageant in the world in terms of the number of national winners participating in the international contest. Along with Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth, the pageant is one of the Big Four beauty pageants.
Miss International Hong Kong (MIHK) is an annual beauty pageant held in Hong Kong to select the country's representative for the Miss International competition.
MIHK has long been committed to promoting diversity and inclusion, encouraging women from different ethnicities, professional backgrounds, and cultural experiences to actively participate. The pageant aims to provide a platform for contestants to showcase their unique charm and values, reflecting the spirit of an international city that embraces diversity.
Ms. Jenny Ngu, National Director of Miss International Hong Kong, stated that beyond empowering women with confidence and influence, the pageant also strives to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this international platform, she hopes to promote Hong Kong’s tourism and culture, while showcasing the charm and strength of outstanding local brands to the global stage.
